The Film
In 2001 Petra read an article in a Swedish newspaper about a six-year-old German-Iraqi boy, who was found dead on the bottom of a swimming pool in a small town in eastern Germany in 1997. According to the article, the boys parents soon began to suspect that their son did not drown but was murdered by a gang of Neo-Nazis. The boys mother is German and his father is Iraqi. Petra became interested in the case and started to investigate it. Based on Petras research, the film addresses what affected the actions and interpretations of the different actors involved in the case, and how a certain opinion eventually got the preferential right of interpretation and was experienced as the truth.
