Denmark -- Hollufgård on Funen in Odense

The residency is situated in the largest sculpture centre in the Nordic countries. The Guest Studios Hollufgård are located ca. 5 km from Odense on Funen island. The sculpture centre is available to both Danish and foreign artists, and is not limited to sculptors. Facilities and workshops provided are, amongst others, a bronze foundry, a stonemasonry, a smithy as well as good facilities for working with plaster and clay.

The Guest Studios Hollufgård was founded in 1984 and is run in close cooperation with the Fowen sculpture studio, a sculptor association. In 1999 a local painters' association became part of the Guest Studios. The Guest Studios invites artists for residencies, and operates a guesthouse with 5 rooms.

The NIFCA residency includes access to the various workshops and facilities, and accommodation in one of the guest rooms (12 m2) with shared kitchen and bathroom. If needed, extra accommodation can be organised for accompanying family members. Note that artists have to bring their own electrical and crafting tools, if required.

Excellent exhibition possibilities are offered in the Hollufgård park.
