Brief description
My main structure of work is to collect, organize and compare material from various fields. By using objects, collages, texts, photography and video I want to examine the relation between the particulary and the common in the fields of marginal (everyday) architecture, storytelling and biographies. Normally I commit myself to long term projects where the works change and transform over the years. My work with biographies (called Who is..?) started as text-installations where short statements were exposed on panels, scrolls, micro film readers and reading furniture are now transformed into short films were the characters play the role of themselves according to my manuscript.
The residency
In Rijeka I edit two videos, of which one will be showed in the exhibition Delayed on Time, Contemporary Swedish art in Zagreb in November. Im also involved in the work of a site specific installation of this videowork. I meet artists and curators in Rijeka and Zagreb and try to inform myself about the conceptual Croatian scene from the 60:s until now.
