In my practice I work as both initiator and participator. My points of focus are human relations and interactions, and I aim to involve people directly. The projects deal with themes connected to everyday life and relate to the thought of the other as an entity who can expand your world. I consider art as a tool to create contact/communication between people, and use varied medias depending on each project.

As NIFCA artist-in-residence in February-April 2004 I gained many new contacts in Finland, and other countries. A residence at Suomenlinna offers a fantastic opportunity of both absorption and more outgoing exchange with everyday life in Helsinki. During my stay I elaborated among other things the project ‘around YOU’ which was realised, thanks to support from NIFCA, in June 2004 at Café Kiasma, Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art, FI.
