About my work:
Brief ideas
The main idea of my work is to approach the temptation of an unattainable ideal.
People are always trying to create some kind of ideal structures, systems, plants, plans, cities.
Actually, an ideal model does not exist - ideal is emptiness.
Keeping in mind the beauty of the empty space, I make forms like skins or membranes.
Objects are placed hanging in space to achieve the effect of frozen movement, or that of a flying colour mass.
Technique
As my working material I use recycled things such as plastic bottles, plastic bags, paper, old advertising materials and films from the press. I weave or melt them together to mix in several layers and give them a new outlook, quite different from their original.
