Biography
Born in Uppsala 1975. Moved with my mother and brother to Ljungaverk ca 1987. Studied Furnituremaking at the gymnasium in Sundsvall. Did the military service in Boden and then kicked about in the village for some years. Started to study art 1996 at Ålsta folkhøgskola - and then went on at the art academy in Trondheim where he I also graduated 2003. Achieved a stipend from Svenska bildkonstärsførbundet wich made it possible for me to move to Glasgow and work as an assistant for artist Roderick Buchanan.
I have lived in many cities and I guess done some travelling, but home is where your heart is and now I'm back living in Ljungaverk.

Text about myself.
I don't drink and I don't do drugs. I have five cars and work out as often I can. I havent gotten over how David Lynch uses the woods in Twin Peaks and I still wonder how long a Volvo B18 engine can run with descent service. I don't understand why Hurriganes from Finland don't get the respect they should. I often think about why Sweden joined the EU when it was mainly Stockholm and Malmø with surroundings who voted Yes. I don't like the way you feel offside when you grow up and live in the countryside. Its strange you don't see fires anymore in big cities. I'm interested in urbanisationproblems.

My plans for the residency in the village of Koppelo, Inari.
Im workin on a story-project based in my own and the surrounding villages in Sweden. I think I am aiming to collect various kinds of sayings and document them in wichever media wich fits it best.
My interest in these stories is that they never ends or dies; when people start drinking they repeat the oldies goldies to eachother. Its pretty significant for minor places.
I will try to collect the rawmaterial in Sweden and let it take shape in Finland where I also can confront their stories with ours.
