I have been working on a project about crime scenes. The project was called "Bilder av brott", and it received a lot of attention in the media during 1998. The project was very difficult, since it was dealing with death, Hollywood-business, news, media etc. It was also about the documentary genre and the human gaze. Some people found it very controversial (in fact I was reported to the police).

After "Bilder av brott", I have been working on other projects. Last year, I have been working with an old archive from crimes scenes in the 50s and the 60s. I called it "Crimescanes", since I show the slides on a screen outside in different places. I try to deal with my interest for places (their souls), memory and the tragic history of mankind. The projects are very difficult and demanding, but I want to take my responsibility and try to discussion important social and political issues.
