Projects 2001

A collaboration between BallongMagasinet and NIFCA, sound gallery HELIUM reflects the diversity of sound and audio art, from the minimal and musical to the narrative and dramatic. Curators from the Nordic region and beyond have each selected five artists.

Many are eager to define sound art as a narrow field, diverging from other art genres, such as music, poetry etc. Ballong Magasinet insists on the lightness of the sound and welcomes you to the series of HELIUM, providing 5 views on what sound art might look like.
