Nordic Objects

A NIFCA project on border crossing in collaboration with the Nordic House in Reykjavik

Eight visual artists living and working in the Nordic countries, are invited by NIFCA and the Nordic House Reykjavik to display their installations and objects in the gallery space. The installations are reflections of natively non-Nordic artists` visions on what is most likely to be a Nordic object.

Nordic Subjects is a parallel seminar to the exhibition, which will take place at the Nordic House auditorium in connection to the opening of the exhibition on 26 May. Libuse Müller, Khaled Ramadan and Ósk Vilhjálmsdóttir give papers.

Participants among others are:
Ana Zadroz Hansen,
Khaled D. Ramadan,
Arman Matenjan
Miguel Vega Olivares (DK),
Christine Candolin,
Niran Baibulat (FIN),
Tomasz Ozdowski,
Danuta Haremska (NO).

Curating & co-ordination: Khaled D. Ramadan & Marita Muukkonen
