Stop for a Moment

The Stop for a Moment exibition series consitsts of three exhibtions: Painting as a Place to Be, Painting as Narrative and Painting as Presence.

The Stop for a Moment exibition series examines different ways of dealing with the problematics and possibilities of painting. Rather than presenting works which extend and stretch the limits of painting's formal medium, the series examines the multifaceted ways of working with 'painting proper'. The exhibitions are initiated and produced by NIFCA in collaboration with the receiving venues.

Curators: Kari Immonen and Mika Hannula
