”voice, guitar and things with a wonderful sound”
Yrjänä Sauros and Jarmo Saari, both multi-instrumentalists, offer a performance of passion, comfort, feeling and wild inventions. The spontaneous music, the stories and tricks performed by the duo are an exquisite pleasure for the ear, the eyes and the heart. There are ordinary everyday objects on stage that can also sound very nice.
The trio led by Sauros tells stories and plays different kinds of instruments, such as the guitar and the kantele (the Finnish national instrument). Antti Ahonen is in charge of the lights and pictures reflected on the space and on the musicians.

Nina Möntmann (Germany) is NIFCA’s new curator from Hamburg. Her doctor’s thesis was on art history, and she has published a book on the subject “Kunst als sozialer Raum” (Art as Social Space,2002).

Coordinated by vocal artist Juha Valkeapää, Marita Muukkonen/NIFCA and Timo Soppela/MUU.
