Global Perpsectives 2002/2003
NIFCA is involved in a range of international artists exchange programs. Artists based in the Nordic region are provided various opportunities to undertake residencies at diverse locations throughout the world, and artists from these regions are invited to residencies in the Nordic region.
India, New Delhi: KHOJ International Artists' Workshop
Japan, Akiyoshidai: Akiyoshidai International Art Village
Taiwan, Taipei: Taipei Artist Village
And as a pilot for the forthcoming Northern Streams - project:
Russia, St. Petersburg: Pro Arte Institute
Applications should include:
A completed and signed application form, available in PDF and RTF formats A CV with sufficient information about your education and artistic activity A motivation statement for the residency
Visual material, consisting of 3-5 documentary slides (or VHS video tape/CD-rom for PC where appropriate)
The application deadline was 14 June 2002.
The artists are selected by an international panel of art actors, who wish to use this opportunity to gain knowledge of the work of a multitude of contemporary artists in the Nordic region.
The names of the selected artists will be announced by August 2002.
