Global Perspectives 2004
NIFCA participates in reciprocal exchange programmes with residency centres throughout the world. These exchange programmes are open to all visual artists based in the Nordic region. In exchange, artists from the participating regions are invited to the Nordic region for residencies.
The deadline for applications for Global Perspectives 2004 was 30 September 2003.
The selection of artists for Global Perspectives and for Nordic AiR in 2004 was made by:

In 2004 NIFCA runs exchange programmes with the following centres:
India
KHOJ Artist Workshops, New Delhi
One residency (six weeks) for an artist from the Nordic region from mid-August to end of September 2004 or from beginning of November to mid-December 2004

The residencies include:·
- Studios or access to work space
· Accommodation
· Grants: 840 euro/month, for India 840 euro/6 weeks
· Additional travel support for the residencies in Japan, Taiwan and India
· Artist presentations in the artist gallery on www.nifca.org
· Various opportunities to create contacts and participate in local activities and/or concentrate on individual projects
