Accommodation is organised in an artist flat in the city centre. Two artists at a time are provided with separate rooms and shared kitchen and bathroom in a flat in the city centre. Phone line and Internet connection secured. Additional work facilities and project plans will be discussed on an individual basis after the artist selection.

The Pro Arte Institute

St. Petersburg's Art Center "Pushkinskaya 10":
The non-governmental, non-profit Society "Free Culture" dates its roots back to 1989 when a group of independent artists, musicians and others occupied a condemned building on Pushkinskaya Street. Today this famous cultural centre comprises art galleries, museums, concert venues, clubs and studios for about forty artists and musicians. It is also known for its international Summer Festival, which is held every year in the end of June.

The National Centre of Photography:
The Centre, formerly known as the St. Petersburg Branch of the National Centre for Contemporary Art, has its office spaces on Nevsky Prospekt, and has a brand new photo gallery space in the centre of the town. Funded by the Ministry of Culture, this organisation is in charge of the residency house in Kronstadt, and involves in a range of exhibitions and projects, with a special focus on photography, but not necessarily limited to this medium.

The artist village in Ozerki:
In the Northern areas of St.Petersburg, there are a couple of interesting village areas, traditionally occupied by artists. These unique 'artist colonies' in Kolomjagi, Ozerki, and Shuvalovo, are known as the working place for many St. Petersburg artists.
