Serbia and Montenegro -- Centre for Contemporary Arts in Belgrade

The residency in Belgrade is hosted by the Centre for Contemporary Arts - Belgrade (CCAB).

CCAB is a non-governmental and non-profit organisation dedicated to promote and support arts & culture production in Serbia and the Balkans. Among its other activities, it organizes exhibitions, conferences, presentations, screenings, lectures, as well as, promotes cultural and artistic co-operation and exchange as a vital part of social and political co-operation, even as an activity which precedes other forms of co-operation in the Balkans.

So far CCAB has organised or co-organised more than 20 exhibitions in Yugoslavia and abroad, published numerous books and catalogues, organised presentations and screenings, founded the School for History and Theory of Art, hosted guest lecturers, supported art production, collected art documentation, etc.

CCAB is an office-based organisation with highly qualified staff and collaborators (art professionals, curators, writers and designers).
